RAKFTZ received “Kazakhstan delegation” & present its facilities and services

The Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) received yesterday a high- level business delegation from Kazakhstan.
The visit of this delegation presided by Irlan Kazashabi, who heads the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan, was the first following the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the RAK FTZ and the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Oussama El Omari, CEO of the RAK FTZ and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Shayeb, the Director General of the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry received the visiting business delegation of Kazakhstan at the Business Center of the RAK FTZ.
During the meeting, both sides held wide ranging discussions aimed at giving a further fillip to the multi- faceted bilateral ties between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazakhstan. The meeting also discussed the business opportunities available in Ras Al Khaimah, which truly offers tremendous business opportunities in diverse sectors like industry, tourism, commerce and facilities.
The visiting business delegation was introduced to the state-of-the-art facilities the RAK FTZ offers its registered clients and the key infrastructural projects the zone has been implementing in the emirate to end up the registered investors in a perfect business environment. The expansion in the facilities of the RAK FTZ also plays a key role in attracting more investors and companies to base their regional operations at the RAK FTZ.     
Welcoming the visiting business delegation, which comprised prominent business people and investors from Kazakhstan, El Omari expressed hope that this visit would further boost bilateral relations between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazakhstan and pave way for increased cooperation in economic, trade and commerce sectors.
Alluding to the close business ties between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazakhstan spanning diverse fields, El Omari expressed the intention of the RAK FTZ to forge dynamic business relations between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazakhstan.
Briefing the visiting delegation about the strategic vision of the RAK FTZ to attract commercial and industrial investments, and highlighting the importance of the visits of the business delegations from around the world, El Omari said “The RAK FTZ is successfully implementing a pro-investment strategy that is firmly rooted in the principles of free trade and in promoting entrepreneurship that would enhance the rapid economic growth witnessed in Ras Al Khamah."
